Red Oak Soccer Association is committed to the safety of all our players. That is why, in conjunction with North Texas Soccer and US Soccer, we have implemented new concussion guidelines that went into effect January of 2016. The elements contained in the initiative are intended to give ROGHSA players, parents, team staff and coaches and referees, guidance and direction when dealing with head injuries and potential head injuries during soccer participation. Our referees have all been instructed to sit out any player whom they feel could possibly have a concussion until that player can be evaluated by a medical professional.
When in doubt, sit them out!

When Caroline Wagner signed her daughter up for soccer, she didn't know what to think. She was a timid child, very shy and always in her shell. "Signing my daughter up for rec soccer was a great decision. She has become more competitive, loves her coach, and loves the game. We will be a long-term soccer family!"
